So why now and why self publish?

My mother ran across a short story I wrote in school several years ago and suggested publishing it. The conversation made me reflect on my passion for writing and all the stories I created for my twins. In that moment, I set out on a journey to bring my stories to life for other families.

Navigating the world of self publishing has been an evolving learning process. There always seems to be a new hurdle to climb and something to discover at every turn. I made some imperfect turns and continue to grow a little wiser. My journey to self publish has been about perseverance and that’s a lesson I definitely want to teach my twins.
